Ultized a $30,000 industrial robotic amrm (Universal Robot - UR10) to play game of chess against any human players. It is capible in playing a full game of chess in any Stockfish Elo without any assitance. It can perform a capture, castle, and _.
I designed and build a mobile base/platform using V-slots aluminum extrusion for mounting all necessary components and accesseries for the robot. Including its Central Processing Unit (inside the black server box), cameras for vision, depth sensor for chess placement, and etc.

On top of each peices of chess, we attached a piece of thin aluminum and april tags for piece recognition. We used an electromagnets for pick and place motion.
